Arts for Conservation - Black Swagger Poetry Slam, June 2016 Edition

Sun 26th Jun26th Jun 2016

This June, The Greens joins La Liberte Arts Group, Y’ems Group, CCESN, SURUDEV, African Dream Network and Sisters Speak 237 to celebrate the Environment through arts on Sunday 26th June 2016 at the conference Hall of Blue Pearl Hotel beginning as from 05:00PM.

Featuring during the event are great poetry presentations like “Green Patriotism” from Ngalim Franklin (Mr. Green), Poetry dramatization by La Liberte Arts Group, great songs from The Greens’ Ambassador, Awu, artistic performances from Shola and lots of exquisite presentations that shall keep you marveled.

Every month, under the Leadership of La Liberte Arts Group, The Greens celebrates creativity through the Black Swagger Poetry Slam.

Black Swagger is a clarion call for Africans to embrace who they are and inspire them to leverage their creative power to develop their continent. The monthly event is not about color but about character. Black Swagger is about attitude not position. It’s about celebrating Africa’s strength not cry about its weakness.
